Curlyleaf Pondweed (CLP) assessment and an Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) delineation

We completed a curlyleaf pondweed (CLP) assessment and an Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) delineation on June 27. We had interesting findings. CLP distribution was sparse (found at 4 sample sites) and where growth was present, it was light.  It appears that a treatment was not necessary this year.

EWM growth was also very light. Basically found at one location, the corner of the Black Pool public access. There was a patch measuring 50 ft by 50 ft (2,500 sf or 0.06 ac).

They will come back in July and recheck the EWM growth.  If it increases, then we'll treat.  But at this time, we do not need to treat this year.
