Saturday, Aug. 1st - virtual - Zoom: 9 am to 10:30 am Meeting
The Clearwater Lake Property Owners Association (CLPO) will hold its Annual Meeting virtually on Saturday, August 1st at 9:00-10:30 AM CDT. The virtual meeting will take place on Zoom with access instructions below.
The agenda will include a summary of the ongoing AIS and planned work to be done during 2020. We will also present retiring CLPO Board members and present candidates for the Board election. Normally, the election takes place at the Annual Meeting. Because of the pandemic we will conduct the Board election via postal mail beginning the following week. All current members will receive a ballot in the mail with a stamped, self-addressed return envelope. Ballots will be due postmarked no later than Saturday, August 22nd. Results will be posted online at clpo.org and in the fall newsletter.
All current CLPO members are eligible to vote. (A “current” member is one who has paid dues for 2020.) If you wish to join or to renew your membership visit www.clpo.org and click on “Join Today” at the top of the page. You can pay via PayPal and you don’t need a PayPal account to do so. You can also mail a check to the address provided.
Feel free to forward this email to anyone with an interest in Clearwater Lake regardless of whether they are a member.

Bios for Board Member Election
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ZOOM
You will be able to join the Zoom meeting by computer, smartphone, or by phone as described below.
Equipment to use: It is best to use a computer or tablet to see all participants on a larger screen. However, if you don’t have these, use a smart phone with the internet. If no smart device is available, you can dial in by telephone as described below (audio only).
Accessing Zoom: Please try to get access as soon as you can. Do not wait until the meeting, especially if you have not used Zoom before.
Click on the link to the meeting ID and follow the directions, which will guide you to download and install the free app “ZOOM cloud meetings” on your device the first time. Feel free to opt out of sharing ‘cookie’ data, if asked. If not automatic, you may need to click ‘Open’ on the app, then click ‘Join a Meeting’ and use the Meeting ID and password. You will be asked to enter your name the way you want it to appear.
Timing: It takes about 5-10 minutes to download the app and sign in to a meeting the first time. You can install the app anytime, even right now as you read this message. As mentioned above, please check your set up in advance by getting into the meeting portal now.
When installed the app will tell you it’s waiting for the host. If you install the app days ahead of time you can simply choose to “leave meeting” to exit until closer to the time of the meeting, when you can join again.
For the meeting: Choose a quiet place in your house. Stay muted (click on the screen in the lower left corner) to avoid feedback sound.
